I use .999 Fine Silver and Bronze Metal Clays to make my one of kind unique jewelry creations.
I’ve been creating art since I can remember. I must have been no more than 3 years old when I created my first "Picasso" on my parents freshly painted basement floor. I spent hours with a can of Ajax, at my mother’s request, removing that masterpiece!

Through the years I dabbled in more acceptable forms of art: painting, quilting arts, rubber-stamping, pottery and photography just to name a few. After raising my children I finally became serious about my art and took numerous classes and found jewelry making the most satisfying form of art I had encountered.
I took my first Precious Metal Clay (PMC) class over 8 years ago and I instantly fell in love with this incredible product. I was hooked! I continually work at learning the newest techniques that are available and have studied and learned from some of the best metal artists I know including: Celie Fago, Linda Kaye Moses, CeCe Wire and J. Fred Woel. I truly believe my desire to continually learn and experiment with new techniques is what sets my jewelry apart from the ordinary.
I often incorporate fused or dichroic glass and gemstones into my silver and bronze jewelry designs for a distinctive look. Each piece is then transformed into a variety of jewelry items such as necklaces, pendants, pins, earrings, watches or rings and finished to capture the spirit of the focal design. Many of my pieces incorporate different finishing touches such as: beading, assorted sterling silver chains and kumihino braided cords that I have made from assorted hand dyed silks or Greek leather cording. My jewelry is hand-crafted with care to last for years of normal wear.
I received my PMC Certification through PMC Connection in 2005 and I am a Precious Metal Clay Guild Member and a member of the Art Clay Society.
I have been providing instruction to students on using metal clay since September 2005 in both private and public classes and teach PMC classes locally at Carnegie Center for the Arts in Three Rivers Michigan and other locations within the Michiana area.
Several of my jewelry pieces have been accepted into the Regional Fine Arts Exhibit in Three Rivers over the past few years.
Creating wearable art jewelry made with PMC gratifies my creative spirit like nothing else I have done.
